Efficient low-carbon heating

Air source heat pumps extract heat from the outside air to provide reliable heating and hot water throughout your home.

Designed around your property

Every system begins with a detailed survey and heat loss assessment to ensure it is correctly sized and specified.

Built for long-term performance

When designed correctly, heat pumps can provide efficient, consistent heating across a wide range of property types.

What to Expect From Your Heat Pump

Efficient heating designed for long-term performance.

Air source heat pumps provide an efficient alternative to traditional gas and oil heating systems, helping reduce reliance on fossil fuels while delivering reliable heating and hot water. When correctly designed, they can provide consistent performance across a wide range of property types.

  • Lower running costs compared to traditional gas and oil systems

  • Reduced carbon emissions

  • Consistent and even heating throughout the home

  • Suitable for a wide range of property types

  • Future-ready low-carbon heating solution

Our process

Each Air-sourced Heat Pump system follows a structured process to ensure reliable performance within your wider energy system.

01.

We begin with a discussion about your property, existing heating system and whether an air source heat pump is suitable for your home.

02.

A detailed property survey and heat loss calculation are carried out to design the system correctly. Where appropriate, eligibility for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and available government funding can also be assessed.

03.

Installation and commissioning

Our in-house team installs and commissions the heat pump system, ensuring all components are configured and operating efficiently.

04.

Handover and ongoing support

Once complete, the system is fully tested and explained, with guidance on how to get the best performance and ongoing servicing available through our support plans.

Yes. Air source heat pumps can often be installed as a retrofit within existing homes, including older properties. The key is carrying out a detailed heat loss assessment and designing the system around how the property performs.
Yes. Older homes can still be suitable for heat pumps when the system is designed correctly. Factors such as insulation levels, radiator sizing and heating demand are assessed during the design process.
Yes. Air source heat pumps are commonly installed in new build properties and work particularly well where the heating system can be designed from the beginning around the way the property will perform.
Not always. Existing radiators can sometimes be retained, although some properties may require upgrades to ensure the system delivers efficient and consistent heating.
Yes. Heat pumps can be integrated with solar PV, battery storage and hot water systems as part of a complete energy system, helping improve overall efficiency and reduce reliance on grid electricity.
